She didn't know what to do. She looked at the masseuse disbelievingly and repeated the words to be sure she heard her well. "I should ignore them?" The masseuse nodded  affirmatively. 'I can't ignore them. They'll  think I'm a weakling'. she thought to herself as the Massage made her to sleep off.  On that new resolve in her mind, she began to think less about the treatment she got in school as she got out of the spa and both parents looked happy as they drove back home.

  The winter break was over and Greyanne  was ready to go back to school and her Mom was helping her to arrange her things. While her Mom dusted her boots, she said "you really enjoyed yourself during the holidays so obviously you'll have a lot to tell your friends in school". Anne mumbled under her breath 'friends indeed, if only I had one ... " Her mom heard heard her from behind and said "Anne, what do you mean?" Anne jumped from fright when she heard her mom's voice picking the fluffs of her leggings. "Mom you wouldn't understand" she said. Her mom was startled "understand what exactly?" Anne told her everything "so that's how I've been coping, alone" she tearfully concluded. Her mom was visibly angry with her classmates and was about calling her principal that she wouldn't resume school again when Anne threw at her a stunning question "mom, am I split? I mean am I a ... " Her mom dropped the phone from her ear and said "what do you mean? You are not spoilt. Who got that nonsense into your head?" Anne was fuming. "Then why's everyone treating me like a spoilt child. Why? Agrrh!!!" She stomped off into her room and banged the door at her back. "Indeed, seething has to be done." Her mom concluded shaking her head.
